Welcome to ABC Stock Investing, where we aim to help the average individual investor understand the ABC's (or basics) of mutual fund, index and stock market investing, as well as how to do your own stock investment research. Thanks to recent laws governing corporate information flow, this task is now much easier to do as an individual investor.

Our site is designed to help beginner to intermediate investors. Because we are focused on helping average individual investors, our site is laid out in a simple format and the articles are written in a conversational style. The best way to use this website is to browse through the articles listed on the toolbar located on the left side of each page. The Core Articles located near the top of the toolbar are best read in order but can also be read independently. The articles located under the Miscellaneous Articles section are not core articles, but provide helpful insights to help you learn related aspects of investing.

Before you start, you should understand that it takes a lot of work to learn how to invest in the stock market. Not only do you have to first learn the principles that govern the stock market, stock valuations, and the different stock market strategies, but you must apply those investment principles to the real world. We are confident that if you read the articles on this site carefully, that you'll be in a great position to manage your own stock investments and do your own stock investment research.
